Oluwakemi joined Verdant Capital as a TA and E&S Manager in November 2024. Oluwakemi is an experienced Technical Assistance Facility Manager and Procurement Specialist, bringing 7 years of expertise in the development and infrastructure sectors. Her career is defined by a strong commitment to delivering projects that drive social and economic impact, with a focus on areas such as job creation, poverty alleviation, women and youth empowerment, access to power and education.
Oluwakemi previously worked at Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company (InfraCredit), where she collaborated with international funders and key stakeholders, including KFW Development Bank, Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), and FSD Africa. In this role, she provided technical assistance support to portfolio companies, effectively bridging the gap between donors, beneficiaries, and stakeholders, ensuring the successful implementation of TA projects.
Before her role at InfraCredit, Oluwakemi served as a Customer and Financial Transaction Officer at Bridgeway Microfinance Bank, where she honed her skills in financial management and customer service. Additionally, she holds a degree in Economics from Ekiti State University and is a certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst under the Corporate Finance Institute.
