Rumbidzai joined Verdant Capital in September 2020. She is an investment banking professional with over six years of experience executing M&A and capital raising transactions. She has worked across a diverse range of sectors, including industrials, agriculture, and impact-driven industries. Her role has a strong pan-African focus, leveraging deep local knowledge to advise clients and investors across the region.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Johannesburg, where her research explored credit risk, systemic risk, climate change and climate finance in emerging markets.
